1969 SHELBY MUSTANG

Located in our Houston Facilithy, this 1969 Shelby Mustang is one of 1,157 GT500 fastbacks produced for the model year, of which 52 were specified with Black Jade paintwork, White knit vinyl upholstery, and a 428ci Cobra Jet V8 mated to a three-speed C6 automatic transmission. It was further specified with the Visibility Group, power steering and front disc brakes, a Sport Deck rear seat, Select Aire air conditioning, a tilt-away steering wheel, deluxe belts, an AM/FM stereo, and a tachometer and trip odometer. First delivered in California, it was owned on the East Coast between the 1980s and early 2000s. In 2023 the transmission was rebuilt, the tie rods were replaced, and wiring was repaired. The car is finished in Black Jade (C) with side stripes. Exterior features include a fiberglass nose, front fenders, and a vented hood with NACA-style hood inlets as well as fog lights, quarter panel vents, Shelby badging, a trunk lid spoiler, and dual square center-exit exhaust outlets.
