Vehicle Description

This is a beautiful 1999 Porsche Boxster 986 with some tasteful upgrades:

-Steering wheel from a 987

-Sony CarPlay stereo

-New top installed in 2023 with rear glass window

-Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires installed in Oct 2023 on Porsche 18 inch 911 wheels. Rears are 285's with the appropriate hub adapters for ideal fitment. Less than 4000 miles on tires.

Power seats and windows, halogen lights with fog lights.

The A/C works great and the top moves up and down perfectly. No leaks. This has been my personal car since 2023. Last month I replaced the water pump, thermostat, all pullies, tensioner and drive belt as well as the spark plugs. Oil and filter were changed 5 months ago with Mobil 1 and it has been driven rarely since then. It really drive's beautifully. No rust anywhere to be found. It's lived its life in the Seattle area.

CarFax shows an accident on May 11 of this year. I was standing behind it car when a Passat hit me and broke my leg in two places. Police, fire and ambulance came to the scene. As I was by my car and I had to have a titanium rod installed in my leg, somehow my car insurance got involved. There was absolutely no damage to the car.

In case you ask about the IMS bearing, I do not believe it has been changed. The 97-99 Boxsters had the dual row IMS and were less prone to failure than the 2000-2005 single row. But there are many opinions on that!

It's located at The Shop Club here in Seattle where I am the general manager. Stop by and have a look. We also have a 2007 Cayman S 6sp for sale!
